Ayrens

Founded in 1868, Ayrens is the oldest French manufacturer of high-end umbrellas and parasols. For nearly 150 years, Ayrens has been manufacturing luxury umbrellas and parasols, including wedding parasols. These umbrellas react very well in windy conditions. As proof of the quality of their products, refer to the video at the following link http://ayrens.com. Images are often more powerful than words!

Ayrens' brollies are made in France. Their workshops   employ experts with solid know-how, built on their very   many years of experience in the industry. The workshops are located at Saint-Pardoux La Rivière, 20 km North of the pretty town of Brantome, Green Perigord, which is also called the Venice of Perigord, in the heart of the Perigord-Limousin National Park. The photo below reveals why!
The Ayrens' workshops can be visited by making an appointment at the tourist office in the town of Perigueux.

The Perigord region is very touristic. In this area, called "the country of 1001 castles", there are of course lots of castles, but also many old stone villages and caves, among them "La grotte de Lascaux".
Such a privileged location for the Ayrens' worskshops feeds their deep culture of tradition, authenticity, innovation and perfection. Since 2009, Ayrens has been part of the prestigious narrow circle of corporate excellence. Ayrens has been labelled a "Living Heritage Company" by the French state. Ayrens is the only French designer of umbrellas to have its 140 years of expertise so honoured.

To date, 600 companies (ie: 2 out of 10 000) have been labelled a "Living Heritage Company".

Among them, companies as prestigious as LOUIS VUITTON, CHANEL, DIOR, HERMES, CELINE, LANVIN, GIVENCHY, KENZO, GUERLAIN, BOUCHERON, CHAUMET, BERLUTI, LESAGE, LONGCHAMP, REPETTO and other small and medium enterprises contribute to the national and international reputation of French know-how.

This label is a reference for consumers and customers.
